It’s Michigan in January. Where’s the snow?
The southeast corner of the state has seen about three flakes (+/-) this winter. A slight exaggeration…but we haven’t had to pull out the snow shovel yet.
The white stuff is important to tourism and Pure Michigan‘s four season mystique. Not to mention the sale of windshield wiper fluid.
Until the snow flies I’ll have to chill and check out various snow cams around Michigan:
SnowmanCam, which has followers that visit year ’round, is still on duty in Gaylord.
MichiganSnowCams is a source for views of lots of locations across both peninsulas, from Port Austin to Paradise, Lansing to Marquette and beyond.
Pasty Central links to web cams at several locations in the Keweenaw Peninsula.
Bridge Cam shows conditions on the Mackinac Bridge linking the Lower and Upper Peninsulas
Weather Michigan has links to nearly 70 web cams across the state.
A quick scan shows there is snow out there—just not in the 313. Yet.
