The winner of the first Great Lakes Gazette Where? Wednesday contest is Robert Johnson of Gulliver, Michigan.
He correctly identified the Upper Peninsula folk art sculpture of the Yooper farmer and Michigan-spotted cow, which are located the south side of U.S. Highway 2 at the intersection of Pawley Road in Gulliver, east of Manistique.
Robert is serving in the U.S. Air Force and looks forward to using his prize, the Historic Michigan Travel Guide, when he’s home on leave.
We are honored to have a member of the military take the time to check in on the Great Lakes Gazette. Thanks for your service, Robert!
Watch for another Where? Wednesday and chance to win a prize that is Pure Michigan.
