Christmas Tree Time

A painting by the late Ken Haines

I bought the candy canes and started to string the popcorn. Time to find the Christmas tree.

No, it’s not stashed in the attic or basement.

We’ll decide on Saturday morning whether we’ll head to a tree farm, Greenfield Village or Eastern Market to choose our Pure Michigan tree.

I do know it will NOT come in a box from China.

Looking forward to the real Christmas tree smell.

Now, to finish stringing the popcorn…

  1. Merry Christmas, Kath! Enjoy your tree-finding and decorating. We’re going tree-less this year, as we’re headed to Georgia to enjoy the holidays with Barry’s folks.

  2. Have a wonderful trip and visit!

  3. I still love having a “real” Christmas tree. Wish I could find the kind Dad would bring us from the U.P. I saw one in the Eddie Bauer window in Chicago but, of course, it wasn’t the real deal. Oh well, there’s always next year.
