Where? Wednesday: Michigan Spotted Cow

Where in Michigan will you spot this roadside folk art?

So you know Michigan?

Test your observational skills with a new Great Lakes Gazette feature, Where? Wednesday.

On occasional Wednesdays I’ll post a photo and offer a prize to a winner from correct entries received by the deadline, which this week is 11:59 p.m. on Lucky Friday the 13th of January (EST) .

To enter, email me with:
-the location of the object as specifically as you can (“The Thumb” or “Michigan” are too vague)
-your name and city (which will be announced if you win)
-your email address (which will be kept private) so I can contact you for a mailing address where I can send the prize
-Where? Wednesday in the email subject line

Email me with your best guess for the location of the farmer and his Michigan-spotted cow:

Win a copy of the Historic Michigan Travel Guide

The winning entry of this week’s “Where? Wednesday” will receive a copy of the Historic Michigan Travel Guide, a handy book that lists more than 300 museums and historically interesting sites across the state. It’s published by the Historical Society of Michigan and does not include the cow.

For more about the guide book check out Homemade: Time Travel at Great Lakes Gazette.

Looking forward to hearing from you!
