Where? Wednesday

A glimpse of an architectural treasure in the Motor City

So you know Michigan?

Test your observational skills with the Great Lakes Gazette feature, Where? Wednesday.

On occasional Wednesdays I’ll post a photo and offer a prize to a winner from correct entries received by the deadline, which this week is 11:59 p.m. on Friday the 4th of May (EST) .

The current prize is the handy Kozak Auto DryWash. It’s appropriate because this week’s Where? Wednesday location is auto-related.

The Kozak cloths require no water for cleaning your car. They’ve been made since 1926 so someone must like them.

The company was recently purchased by a St. Clair Shores, Michigan native. And no, there’s no relation to my husband TJ Kozak’s family.

Click to check out this instructional video featuring The Kozak Girl from Kozak Asia demonstrating how to use the cloth.

To enter, email me using the form below with:
-the location of the object as specifically as you can (“The Thumb” or “Michigan” are too vague)
-your name and city (which will be announced if you win)
-your email address (which will be kept private) so I can contact you for a mailing address where I can send the prize
-Where? Wednesday in the email subject line
