Where? Wednesday: A Salute To Hot Dog Month

So you know Michigan?

Test your observational skills with the occasional Great Lakes Gazette feature, Where? Wednesday.

Once in a while I’ll post a photo of something or some place in Michigan, and offer a prize (see below) to a winner from correct entries received by the deadline, which this week is 11:59 p.m., Friday, July 20 (EST).

In honor of National Hot Dog Month identify the location of this iconic vehicle, a version of which made its debut on July 18, 1936.

To enter, email me with:

-the location of the object as specifically as you can (“The Thumb” or “Michigan” are too vague)
-your name and city (which will be announced if you win)
-your email address (which will be kept private) so I can contact you for a mailing address where I can send the prize

Send your best guess for the location of this curiosity using the form below by 11:59 p.m. (EST) Friday, July 20.

The winning entry of this week’s “Where? Wednesday” will receive a handy Kozak Auto DryWash. These cloths require no water for cleaning your car.

We haven’t actually tried one on our vehicles; we wouldn’t want to risk disturbing the artistic splattered paint statement.

But those of you with normal paint jobs should have no problem. The Kozak cloths have been made since 1926 so someone must like them.

The company was recently purchased by a St. Clair Shores, Michigan native. And no, there’s no relation to my husband TJ Kozak’s family.
