Amateur (unpublished) photographers are invited to submit one or two of their best shots of Michigan wildlife in winter in the, well, Wildlife of Michigan in Winter photo contest.
It’s sponsored by the Gillette Sand Dune Visitor Center at P.J. Hoffmaster State Park in Muskegon, and the winning images will be displayed at the center through February 28. Prizes valued at $50, $35 and $25 will be awarded.
There’s a $4 per photo entry fee and the photos must be matted. Deadline for entries is 3 p.m., Friday, January 25. Winners will be announced on February 2.
