You’ve just returned or you’re planning a trip to the Great Lakes State. Or, maybe your memories of a distant vacation are so vivid and special that you’d like to “Share Your Michigan Moment” in a contest hosted by Michigan Travel Ideas, the state’s official visitor magazine.
Share your special Michigan vacation memories; here are my kiddies on a Lake Michigan beach (seems like) just a few short summers ago
Jot down your story, dig up some photos, and enter online by September 6, 2010. You could win the $1,000 top prize or one of four $250 VISA cards.
And there’s a chance your entry will appear in the 2011 edition of Michigan Travel Ideas, which is published by the Midwest Living magazine folks.
Please note that there is a catch (you know the lawyers worked overtime on this one): “The trip you portray must be in Michigan.”
Even if you decide not to enter you can travel vicariously and take part in the selection process by voting for your favorite entry; several are already posted.
If you don’t have a copy Michigan Travel Ideas, order yours free online or stop at one of the 14 Michigan Welcome Centers, located on major highways.
